What we walked into.
A 6-week turnaround required ~1,200 unique instrumentation and valve SKUs landed at a single inspection point three weeks before turnaround start. Mixed long-lead items and SABER conformity needed.
Approach
How we delivered.
- 01Built a single consolidated BoM from the turnaround engineering package — 1,243 line items across 17 process units.
- 02Negotiated factory inspection slots with 8 manufacturers; conducted parallel third-party inspection through SGS at origin.
- 03Coordinated SABER conformity declarations and SASO certificates of conformity for the entire shipment.
- 04Delivered as 14 sea containers consolidated through King Abdulaziz Port (Dammam) on a fixed-date window.
