The challenge
What we walked into.
Mixed legacy installation across the 6 stations. Communications between stations and the central operations centre were unreliable. Operational data lost during multi-hour windows.
Approach
How we delivered.
- 01Standardised controller hardware across all 6 stations with a common platform and configuration.
- 02Replaced legacy radio links with redundant LTE + satellite back-up.
- 03Built a common HMI screen template and migrated existing displays to the new platform.
- 04Commissioned each station with on-site support during a single 5-day visit per location.
Outcome
What changed.
Communications availability went from 91% to 99.8%.
Central operations centre regained full visibility on all 6 stations.
Maintenance team holds standard hardware spares pool — average response on alarms reduced 60%.
